  A truly outstanding film, adhering very strictly in every detail to the Biblical account of the life, passion, resurrection, and ascension of Christ. Diago Morgado, who plays the role of Jesus, looks exactly as He is so often portrayed in art. That makes it all the more personal - and all the more difficult to hold back on the tears.

  the characters were all very real especially Jesus and Mary They played the part very well Thank you for an excellant show

  This was so similiar to the one that was filmed for tv...named The The Bible & with the same actor...even showed more of the scriptures & more from the Bible.

  This movie affirmed my belief in Jesus and God. I watched emotionally every little detail this Fantastic movie had to offer. You really need to put yourself in their shoes in those times. Today's society has really veered away from good proper faith and so we have the problems in today's world. Amen <3

  A wonderful movie. Have never cried out loud in a movie before but at one point I was caught off guard and couldn't stop myself. This movie gave the political context of Jesus' crucifixion, something a person wouldn't know from reading the Bible. 'Son of God' did justice to the temple elders and even Judas was shown somewhat sympathetically, as he suffers the ambivalence that a follower turned informant can experience.

  If you watched The Bible then you don't need to see Son of God, it is the same.

  The acting by the main characters was exceptional and remarkably convincing. The perspectives of the disciples, the Pharisees and the Romans were told without protracted bias. Each group faced enormous pressures to conform in a highly political time. The imagery of the washing of hands by Jesus, Caiaphas and Pilot was a poignant piece of counterpoint in the movie but there were many others. My accolades to all who were involved in the production of this movie. It takes more than the imagination to tell this story.

  I would give this 10 stars! It is not just about what Jesus did, but portrays exactly who he is, the Son of God. Our broken world needs this message of truth and hope. Thanks to Mark Burnett and Roma Downey for producing it.
