It was hilarious, action-packed and also quite moving in parts. A really good movie made excellent by the performances of its two leading men. The best buddy-cop movie I have seen in many years.

i thought the movie was great entertainment, it does help considerably if you`re bilingual and or you know Quebec slang especially swear words, the subtitles for the french portions go by quite fast and don`t do actual justice to the intensity of the words used. It also helps if you know the history of the Quebec Nordiques and a few hockey players in the league in the early / mid 90s as the movie plot is a revenge towards the lost of a canadian hockey club... for the ones who aren`t sure about it .. it`s actually quite funny but here`s a few hints ... The commissioner Mr. Buttman is gary bettman, #88 who refused to play for Quebec was Eric
