First, the title is stupid. Then, the story is boring and doesn't make any sense. I don't hate many movies but this made my list of most hated movies. I'll never watch another Paul Thomas Anderson movie again, this was too much of a waste of time.

Worst movie of the year. Too long, characters are unlikeable and it's completely pointless. Maybe people who like comic book movies will like this, because it makes as little sense, but I doubt it.

Best movie I’ve seen in a long time. Great acting and unbelievably well done supporting roles by Tom Waits, Sean Penn and Bradley Cooper. A fun experience. Probably not suited for those who like movies based on comic book characters and special effects.

This movie is youth. It is hope. It recalls tough political times, not unlike our own, but it is teeming with love and a vigorous belief that the fight is worth it, Things will get better. It embodies the vibe of the 70’s.
