  If the ache for a past life or nostalgia had to be defined, it would be this movie. It's irrevocably beautiful and so romantic. It's in equal measure hilarious, and heartbreaking. A must watch.

  The Austrailian accent is so thick that whole segements went right by me. It really needs subtitles; that is, if every word in a script is deliberately chosen, and thus important. Also, sorry, but the "tight" cinephotography, in which actors' faces fill the screen in a chain, one shot after the other, was enought to induce a headache. If this is the style of this director, I will avoid further of his creations. Lastly, the plot doesn't hold water. In love with someone and you have no attempted communication for eleven years? Doesn't make sense, and the plot fails if that is what is the dramatic tension that holds this thing together.
