Disappointed. I am not anti-Leto, but I don't feel like he was right for the part. The parts that bothered me is the description of the soldiers from the grid were that they feel no pain, insanely strong, incredibly fast, can't bleed etc. But when they time out, they yell like they are in pain??? The head woman from the rival company who found the "permanence code" goes into the grid and comes out with Leto, but Leto times out and she doesn't???? She turned digital and comes out to the real world, how does she not time out too? Athena was good as a hunter, but the insanely strong and fast was BS. Fights were regular like most movies. Long and short of it is it was meh. Some decent NIN music, but ultimately, there was something I just didn't like about the movie. Good for Jeff Bridges sticking it out this long with Tron movies, but I think Ares dropped a notch. The second one was a little better than this.

Really disappointed. Unlike Tron Legacy, Tron Ares lacked a soundtrack, didn't have much of a story, and lacked character development. So it relied on CGI and lots of noise/violence to try to keep you watching. I couldn't sit through the whole movie.

I had high hopes for this movie, judging by the first two i enjoyed. But right from the start the music was sub-par B movie sounds, and the casting had much to be desired. This was an example of the studio shooting themselves in the foot by following DEI guidelines. I kept waiting for it to get better, but it never did.

A good, fun, junky action movie. The special effects scenes are amazing. The story is dumb - there's a lot of traveling back and forth between Tron World and the real world. Turn brain off and enjoy the spectacle. I liked it.

I loved the original Tron and also Tron: Legacy with Daft Punk & Quora.
I read many brutal negative comments on YouTube and almost did not go to see it.
It turned out to be an opportunity to spend time with my teen daughter. So I had to take it. Glad I did.
She gave it four stars, because she is a story person and the movie was mostly action.
I gave it five stars. It was new and fresh yet still continued the legacy of the original.
MJR Troy, Michigan was nice and clean, the employees were clean, polite, and friendly. We saw it in the IMAX and the seats were great.
Overall, I am very glad we saw it together and at the theater.
