Sydney Sweeney deserves an Oscar nomination for her performance in this film. She absolutely becomes the tough coal miner's daughter who blazed a trail for women in boxing. I went in not knowing much about the real Christy, so the well-crafted screenplay had lots of surprises for me. I'm a boxing fan, but you don't need to be one to enjoy "Christy".

What a great movie. What this woman endured and accomplished is just amazing. Sydney Sweeney should get an oscar for her acting in this true. story, I was taken in from first second of movie till the end. Go see it -best movie I've seen in a long time.
