This movie gives the old song "It`s raining men" a whole new meaning.

Speilberg should stick to kids stories.. oh wait, he did. This is supposed to be a HORROR movie. "Mars Attacks" by Tim Burton had more scary scenes! Nah, this movie is about a crappy father who has to spend a rough weekend with his kids. And, Shame on Speilberg for casually dressing this movie with 9/11 visuals.

Excellent, excellent, excellent. Loved it. Would pay to see it again in the theatre. Highly recommend.

Although it`s anyone`s guess whether the Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes thing was just a publicity ploy, I`d advise Cruise`s PR rep to milk that puppy for all it`s worth - `cause that`s the only thing that can sell this piece of @!^$#. The special effects were incredible. But the storyline was lame, the ending (if one can call it that) was totally incongruent with the plot, and the only half-decent actor Dakota Fanning was stuck screeching the whole time. How`m I supposed to get my 2 hours back?

This movie was EXTREMELY disappointing. Tom Cruise, Dakota Fanning, and Justin Chatwin`s performance were terrible and the story leaves you asking MANY questions! This movie is a rental. DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY!

I thought that this movie in general was pretty good. The story line was relative to the book and I thought that both Tom Cruise and Dakota Fanning really portrayed their characters really well. Both of them are really talented actors/actresses and you can really see it in the movie. The special effects were really good, and the suspense was well presented throughout the entire film. The only downfall in the movie like everyone said was the ending, it was sort of unclear and it seemed like it ended disruptly. Overall it was a descent movie with the good acting and the special effects. Max 4 Stars.

Special effects were OK but plot and acting was not up to expectations. It would be better as a direct to cable movie.
