Better than many of the dumb movies that come out now.

At times mysterious, disturbing and thrilling, Presence captures the essence of a young adult ghost story but adds deeper themes of family bonds, drug abuse and damaged mental health issues. I give it a solid 10/10 imo because of its concept & how well they executed it. Some would argue “is it really a horror film?” To that I say this: Horror is by definition: an intense feeling of fear, shock, or disgust. It gave me fear & shock, a bit of disgust for a scene, so yes it’s a horror film just not your typical one. In fact I would even categorize it as a supernatural psychological thriller. Just go in blind, go in with an open mind and just enjoy yourself, I know I did, either that or the edible hit us really hard but honestly my wife & I enjoyed ourselves and loved the movie, The last 30 mins of the movie is where it terrified me. So much that I teared up. For those that have seen it or going to see it all I gotta say is this: They used one of my fears which is why I still feel some sort of way about this movie. Dread, grief, ahhhh it’s a good ghost story just go watch it. Presence.
