This movie is gonna be amazing! Ok the guy isn't as gorgeous as described in the book but I can live with that. I may watch this movie many, many times depending on how true to the books it is.

Well. I think is sick bringing this story to the big screen. They should kept this story where belongs. Those porno websites. I never read the book I never will.

Not sure how I feel about this movie. I never really understood the appeal of the books to begin with. And I have read them, all three of them, so it is not as if I am speaking poorly about them for no reason. When I read the stories (and I read them all one weekend) I expected there to be much more to them that what there was because of all the hype. I kept hoping for something to come out to redeem the plot and it never came. The story reads like a rather basic fan fiction, mixed feelings and lots of abuse and then everything ends up okay because they are in love, because love makes everything okay. This series is NOT about BDSM, not even close. This is the romanticization of a controlling and abusive relationship. This is not okay and makes me sick that they've actually made this book into a movie. Doesn't even deserve one star. I hope it flops.

I love, love, love the books. Read it so many times and it is not because of the sex. I love the story line and can't wait to see the movie. People should give it a rest about the characters already. I love who they chosen. Who say's that this Christian is not handsome??? Give him a chance. If you don't like it don't go and see the movie....
