Great for a thinker but those who rather flash without story will be disappointed. No it is not INDEPENDENCE DAY but then again, it is wasn't meant to be. The budget was very different on this film and Denzel's acting says a lot for a man whose role depended on his bodily language and a few very choice words. Those who hate this movie are just used to blockbuster films with glitz. This is a story with depth. Worth seeing. However, for those suffering from ADD/ADHD, give it 20min before you start snoozing or getting upset. Just pay attention and you'll be fine.

Absolute garbage.
Extremely slow, one dimensional story line.
Good symbolism, but horrbile acting on Gary Oldmans part. Mila Kunis is blah.
If you think this movie is an action film you will be sadly dissapointed.
nothing new here you have seen it before.

The acting, the plot and especially the plot twists keep yopu on the edge of your seat. And if that was not enough, it is extremely thought provoking! A MUST SEE MOVIE!

The movie was much deeper than a mere movie. The Biblical and Spiritual symbolism was mind-blowing and if you didn't get it, you need to watch it as many times as it takes for you to understand the movie.

Wow. I really expected better. Riding the future of mankind (the plot) on the importance of the Bible is pretty weak. Oh just to let you know GWH I believe the guy your referring to is a skeptic not a cynic. There is a difference.
