  I give this move a very very light 3 out of 5.. another poor attempt in remaking a classic! stick to the original!! hope they don't remake a part 2.....

  Not nearly as good as the original, which did at least have some complexity. Eli Roth makes Michael Winner look like Stanley Kubrick in comparison

  if you are an old timer like me, and you loved the original , try not to compare this film with the original and you will enjoy it . The original had the Kersey character gradually become proficient with his vigilantism . This version Kersey jumps in full guns a blazing which slightly makes it unbelievable . The beauty of the original was it could really happen, and you questioned.... would I do the same if in his shoes .
