  I was skeptical about the length of the movie, but the time just flew by. It was really interesting, funny, tragic and heartwarming. Well worth seeing in the theatre.

  totally unrealistic. it would take forever to count the ways. there is 0 chance the chinese would give some secret to help an american astronaut and then nasa broadcasting it live at times square and around the world lol lol.the chinese cheering at the end would never happen in a million years. the crew would never agree to go back against nasa orders ever ever ever.professional movie critics should be ashamed of themselves for recommending this piece of unrealistic garbage

  Followed the book well with action, cliffhangers, and humor. Matt Damon is awesome, much more so than the others. Very, very entertaining.

  Excellent interpretation of the book. Well cast with several good performances including Matt Damon and Jeff Daniels. Terrific special effects and cinematography. Well paced. A must see!
