Because it wasn't any real footage of paranormal and all made up I wasn't scared by it and am surprised that so many others were. It could have elaborated the plot a little better with the picture of the little girl and what the haunting was all about it. A good plot would have helped. It wasn't awful either but I will not be seeing Paranormal 2!

Great movie. You are tense the entire time because you never know what is going to happen. At the beginning it's all very subtle (but very creepy) and it escalates as the movie goes on. I thought it was interesting that even though you know exactly when something's going to happen because of the presentation (camera on fast forward until "it" shows up) you're still nervous in anticipation. I guess it's terrifying if you actually believe in demons and ghosts. For me it was just a really interesting presentation of a haunting. Two thumbs up.

a definite must NOT see! I wish I never paid to see it. I probably wouldn't even rent it. I'm telling you I will sleep comfortably tonight and it didn't help that EVERYONE in the theatre felt the need to have the whole theatre hear their opinions.

The movie was awesome... we actually didn't plan to see the movie because we accidentally walked into the wrong theater (ours was the one right beside it) so we stayed for it anyways so we didn't loose our money. If you are into getting seriously freaked out and prepared to scream, then this is for you. My favorite part in the movie was when the woman got dragged out from her bed. The motion was so fluid and looked so real that it really make your heart pound. Another part that was my favorite was at the very end but I can't reveal that or else it would give it away... but put it to you this way.... OMG is all I can say. Fantastic movie!!!

For starters: I HATED blair witch. You hear that? I walked out of the theatre after the movie absolutely mad that I had wasted my time. As far as Paranormal Activity: it was genious and scary. For the dim-witted junkies who think more blood = more scary, you are brain dead. This movie is scary, and I never even knew it existed until I decided to go out for a movie one night. So leave your expectation for blood baths at home, and let your mind believe that Paranormal Activity is plausable. After all, isn't that what ficion is all about anyway; accepting make believe? This movie is one of the scariest movies I have ever seen.

This is for the peron who looked at their phone to get the time...TURN OFF YOUR PHONE the next time you go to a movie please! The light is a distraction and is rude! Buy a watch! Now that you saw it I'm going to see it!
