  Very entertaining. Kind of like an Asian version of Independence Day, Avatar or a disaster movie from the 70's. Heroic people making tough decisions and sacrifices to save the planet. Spectacular special effects and there are also a lot of real, human moments. See it on the big screen. It's in Chinese with English subtitles. Science fiction fans - see this unusual, amazing movie.

  Although the movie is a bit didactic, its Hollywood counterpart such as Armageddon, Independence Day, Deep Impact, etc. is no less didactic. At least this movie has some intellectual content (how to define when and where a person's life ends) woven organically into a critical point of the plot, while those aforementioned has none. Overall, the movie is no 2001 or Blade Runner 1, but I would rank it to be at least as good as Interstellar. In terms of the scale and scope of imagination, however, I would say there is nothing like that before (not even 2001).

  Totally different style sci-fi movie than the west. We've so used to the Holly wood style sci-fi and never seen other styles from elsewhere. I love it !!!! Great job Chinese, you guys shocked me again!
