A man who suffers from violent sleepwalking spells and his girlfriend retreat to a remote cabin in this stiff found-footage horror movie. Dream Eater manages to explain its multi-layered tale with a whole lot of heart and jump scares. The beauty is that Dream Eater doesn’t use the first-person perspective for cheap thrills. This film earns its scares. Go and see it.

Eli Roth does it again. Love this movie. It's like Blair witch meets hereditary. The pacing is perfect, it was never boring and I was never sure what was going to happen next. Very effective on a psychological level, just the right amount of creepy mixed in with an otherwise normal couple. The build up in this movie is masterfully done. I think it will be every bit as scary during the second viewing. Genuinely scary, I can't wait to see it again!! 5 stars !
