  Was an ok movie and Hilary Swank and Tommy Lee Jones as always were awesome in the movie, but for me the movie just did not make a ton of sense really. I understood the premise, but wasn't entirely happy with the way the movie progressed (even though I understood why) and the ending. It was kinda blah. If it wasn't for the acting I could care less about the movie.

  This is not the little house on the prairie. It is an incredible story. A slice of history takes place in the Nebraska territory. What it meant to be a pioneer, no romantic notions. A stellar cast all living their character. I'm going to read the book after seeing this film. It has got to be good.

  Marvelous acting, photography and script. One can only imagine the hardship that folks endured in the Nebraska territory.

  Very well done. Interesting depiction. Good cinematography. Good acting.

  Enjoyed this movie very much. the story line although simple and really nothing much happened (except one surprising thing which I won't mention here) but it kept you interested all the way through. All in all one of the better movies I've seen in the last few weeks.
