  Uninspired retread of the Italian made cannibal flicks of the late 70s/early 80s. Sunk by poor direction, lousy writing, unsympathetic characters, and bad acting. Lead actress Lorenza Izzo is particularly bad. She goes through the whole movie with the same one-size-fits-all facial expression. Much of the dialogue is unintelligible because of characters with thick accents and actors mumbling their lines. Another loser from horror hack Eli Roth.

  Great movie!! I must say.. SPOILER ALERT... When the girl was going to get circumcised... I think my vaj-jay could feel the pain.... that part was really gross... well, the whole movie was gross.. but I think that part in particularly.. I was sure rocking back and forth covering my vaj-Jay. .. YUCK

  Not bad of a story line. The wife and I like horror movies, but neither of us thought that it was one. The worst part of it was some of the hand held cameras kept bouncing around all over the place. They kept going in and out of focus for no reason. Must be a low budget movie.

  Yes....you heard it here first, one of the best in the horror genre I have seen. Yes slow at first.....could have used a few more takes for the actors to warm up to each other but otherwised nicely balanced with tension and anticipation. I would pay to see it on the big screen again and again.... great photography once in country in Peru the one I am very familiar with. 7

  Awesome homage to Italian cannibal flicks from the 70s and 80s. Excellent gore, dumb story, just like they did it!
