Good acting in a so so script. It could have been metaphorical for: schoolyard bullies, or north Korea bully, or alcoholics haze, but because the world actually witnessed the monster it can't be a metaphor and has to stand as a monster movie. As a monster movie it was so so. Humor was misplaced, as all the characters drink booze and beat each other up, whats funny. Why does Hathaway instantly befriend 'Oscar' the drunk, screw the wimpy guy and hang around such scroungers? Oscar is merely another clone of Tim the other bully.
Will Hollywood do an honest movie like: days of wine and roses? Or, one about a group of honest to goodness homosexual men that really hate women and say it.
