Terrible movie. They placed effort into the cast and scenery just to mock christianity. 20 years ago people would be walking out and demanding their money back. This was an insult.

Excellent movie for many reasons: it comes close to protraying how the Conclave actually works in real life; it presents the human side of the cardinals who are ,afterall ,only men imbued with human foibles and passions; and it presents situations that might lead some viewers to question what we would do faced with similar situations with regard to faith, and how that faith is influenced by our own ambitions. The acting, the pace of story telling and the drama are superb. No doubt this film will be among those nominated for an Academy Award.

I could not imagine how a Conclave could ever make a 2 hr. movie…I was wrong… 2 hrs was like 45 minutes. Riveting from the 1st minute to the last second. Amazing character development. Superb acting.
