  I'm a softie, but I thought I could get away without shedding a tear while watching "Something To Stand For".......NOT! Reminiscent of Paul Harvey's "The Rest of The Story" (which I'd listen to faithfully and who I also had the privilege of meeting while hosting him at a fund raising dinner years ago), I loved the stories you told/tell, Mike Rowe! You've done us all a great honor!

  Mike Rowe is a fantastic story teller; the manner in which he sets the stage and tells the story is engaging, captivating, and enlightening, to hear about events and acts that our history book never reveals and that I had never wondered..."how did that come about?" Rowe's story telling prowess took me on a journey that had me wondering, cheering, tears of gratitude for heroism and bravery, sacrifices, and enthralled with the revelation of interesting twists of fate that created an outcome which shaped future events. if this film were still viewable in my area I would go see it again...and will likely stream it to see it again.

  Outstanding movie, a benefit for people of all ages. It was very moving-I cried-inspirational, and patriotic. Mike Rowe is a wonder storyteller and he has made himself one hell of a movie!
