Shallow characters, poor representation of the lifestyle.

Plotless and pointless and I like a little skin. Reminds me of many years ago when they tried to break boundaries with Myra Breckenridge. I thought 9-1/2 weeks was well done and made its statement.

The only people who seemed to enjoy it were the group of 16 year old girls. I don't understand how parents wo uld allow them to see this.

I'm glad Charlie Hunnam bailed on this groaner. I'd hate to see him in this pathetic excuse for abuse

It was good, but compared to the book it was missing a lot of sex scenes. No bj's included. :(

Saw the movie with my mom (yes I've read the books too). Couldn't help but feel uncomfortable by Jamie, even though I knew the plot from the book, I kept waiting for Dakota to end up face down in a river. Maybe it was just because I was seeing the serial killer from "The Fall", or maybe if he wasn't rich and good looking, he would have just been another abusing stalker. Couldn't get attached to Jamie at all. I just reminded myself that this movie no more advocates a way of life, any more than "Fast and Furious" turns you into a stunt car driver. Just entertainment, don't take it too seriously.
