  This movie starts out very slowly, and proceeds to get slower. The animation style seems to be a rip off of Tim Burton's, but not close, nor brilliant, enough for anyone to speak of plagiarism. The plot is terrible and filled with loopholes regarding the background of the main villain and her origins. The plot leaves one wanting more, but the movie itself leaves one wanting less as viewing it is a complete waste of time.

  i loved it more than any movie i would watch it agian but m mom say wait till it comes out on dvd i love love coraline it rocks

  This movie wasn't that worth it. I'm 12yrs old and i wished i didn't see it. It was REALLY boring during the begining, and was a bit better during the middle parts. over all= it was an average movie. :)

  the movie is good but it isn't for young children under the age of 8 years old my brother was having night mares but he is only 6 years old! if you want your kid to watch the movie fine but i suggest their should be a parent or someone 16 and up!!!!! hope you enjoy this fantastic movie :D

  The movie coraline was terrible.Dakota fanning who was coraline did a terrible job.I checked the movie reviews just to make sure the reviews were right but when I saw the movie it turns out the reviews that were 1 stars were acutally right.This movie is not recommend for kids under 8.

  I'm very surprised at the number of people who seem to be giving this movie a bad review because it is not suitable for their kids. It is no secret that this movie has mature themes and is not intended for young children. Animated does not equal kids movie. Parents are responsible for knowing what they are exposing their kids to. It's a brilliant movie, but it was not written for your young child.
