It's nice when you get a movie that doesn't always follow the same formula that almost every other movie in Hollywood has. By that, I mean that it isnt just one single genre, but blends them. The movie starts as a drama, turns into a survival pic, then comedy, then horror, and finally, action/suspense. Any of these reviews that over-simplifies this as a 'horror' or a comedy is missing the mark, and the reviewer is just fixating on one small aspect. Sam Raimi reliably puts spins, twists, and unpredictability in most of his movies, and for that: 5 stars.
