i thought it was too bloody much. graphics were mediocre for this day and age. could have done a better job. not as stimulating as i wouldve thought. isnt james cameron dead. well i think his career will be after this one ends up in the dumpsters...

It was amazing, absolutely a breakthrough in graphical technology. Fantasy lovers will love the brand new world and unique creatures and people who love romance will love the blossoming love story that exists on a primal level. Even those who are not into this genre of movie will walk away wanting more. Definately a must see.

From the first scene on pandora you are absolutely captivated by the new world in front of you....It truly is something that cannot be explained...it must be experienced..Finally a movie that is worth paying to see at the theatre. I haven't really been impressed with the movies coming out of hollywood for the past few years...Yes there have been a few that were good but nothing like this..Absolutely raises the bar on movie going....I have seen it in the 3-d experience but now i will be going to see it in the I-max 3-d format...apparently it is a much more satisfying experience...

On the whole, AVATAR was a pleasing experience. Not sure that the 3D was a huge plus, but it was definitely worth seeing on the IMAX screen. My wife, who is not usually a 'sci-fi' fan, gave it the thumbs up. I would need to see it a second time to really give a more meaningful critique. There was really too much to take in in a single viewing

The plot, characters, and acting were good to average. The image quality is ground breaking! As ground breaking as the addition of sound and color to movies so long ago. This will change the future of movies.

Good storyline. The movie experience however, tops anything I have ever seen. It definitely raises the bar for future 3D movies.
