Im 11....AND THIS WAS THE BEST MOVIE I EVER SAW THAT WAS CARTOONED!!!...IT WAS AMAZING!!!!! The 3D really made the movie a heck of alot better. Great for children 8+ up. A little freaky at times...but overall..>AMAZING!!!!

The feeling was a little more lighter and fun than the book... The trailers made it look absolutely horrendously butchered, but, thankfully, you can still feel that creepy, surreal tone in some parts. I would still much rather read the book, but the stop-motion animation has a really cool look to it. Modern day Alice in Wonderland, fer the win~.

Myself and sister, aged 9, really enjoyed. She said it was one of her favourites. Definately not for young children - a number of frightening scenes and somewhat dark but, as others have mentioned it is rated PG and has advisories (not recommended for young children). Animation great, loved the "real-d" Would recommend for people with children 8+ or have read and are not afraid of the book. Would def. see again.

We went as a family of 5 , for the most part, it was dark, different . We did not like it at all. For sure not a movie for children or a family outing.
