I'm baffled by the extreme dislike for this film. Although the reviews are just people's opinions, did everyone see the same film? There's either love or hate for this film. I personally liked it immensely and appreciated the references to the past. They also reinvigorated the script with more humor, but not too much as in the Roger Moore films that became awful and hokey. Plus, the storyline was very current re: Democracy vs Security. There was one review I read that thought the film should be more like Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. Seriously? First of all, Bond has been around a lot longer and has done it a lot better and MI is just a pale, updated copy. These Daniel Craig films

We liked it. It was full of action with a not-too-convoluted plot. It was the usual James Bond type of thing, no worse than any of the other Bond movies

A lot of references to Sean Connery era Bond Films. If you have never seen Connery as Bond see Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, and Diamonds Are Forever, before seeing Spectre, you will appreciate Spectre more! You will understand the references that this film was inspired by. Helps one understand the whole Spectre organization.

Not one of my favourite Bond movies. Weak plot.

What a snoozer. The few action scenes were good - too bad the rest of the movie was so incredibly BORING. And the Bond girl, besides being a bad actress, was the most unsexy woman imaginable. I can see why Daniel Craig has been panning his own movie. This sucked!

I enjoyed this movie. I liked the opening chase scene, and the other chase/confrontations with the plane and on the train, but have to be honest that Christoff Waltz, as the leading villain just didn't do it for me. I did enjoy the performance of Mr. White, who has been in several Bond movies. The female trysts were also not memorable, either because of their lines, or the lack of their character development, (not feisty enough). I did like the movie enough to see it a second time.

Lots of action. While it may have flaws and the critics don't like it, it is still a Bond movie and they are cool.
