  This movie was better then what I could've expected. For any film student that is curious about this movie you might want to do yourself the favour of watching it as you won't be disappointed.

  One of the years best films. A must see. More of a somber and dark film, though, just to warn.

  Overall the movie is genuinely a master piece in transformation from book to movie. It had a very big reputation to uphold with due to the Swedish version which came out in 2009, although it was directed and casted very well making the movie one of the best movie adaptations from book (excluding major series like harry Potter and Lord of the Rings). There are several highly graphic scenes in which may disturb you at first if you have no clue what the story line is at all, so beware. Other than that though The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo is precisely an awesome movie.
