It's always the same story, get a bunch of big name actors, throw them in a "Pot" together and you get "Ghoulash"!The is never any need for remakes either recent or old, cause if the original is already well made, why destroy it.The American movie company's need to come up with fresh and new ideas instead of stealing them(ex.:"Let Me In",which the original was brilliant!)from any country making already great films!

Honestly I am the same as the previous guy. I sincerely wish for ppl to boycott. Cash grabs are BS, it's just calling the public stupid. I only saw the first of the swedish movies, but it seemed well done. So no need to squash it with a heavy handed american remake.

Great movie. No remake needed and airbrushing won't win it over.

If you don't need to see a movie just read the book and stop there. Your condescending attitude that you can make a judgement based on no information is childish. I have read the books, seen the original movies and am looking forward to David Fincher's interpretation. I like to see movies before I slam them and the people who enjoy them.

I don't need to see the movie to make judgements. It's one thing to remake a movie that's over forty or fifty years old, but it's an entirely different matter when a movie triology is remade only one year after the last installment of the original triology was released. Just because some people are too lazy to read the subtitles, it doesn't mean you should make a whole new Americanized version of it. Having the actors speak the language of where the plot and setting is to form, just creates a more vivid appeal and "realness" to the film experience.
