It´s too ambitious for it´s own good. The first part has too many flashbacks and exposition dumps which should have been mostly cut out.
On the other hand, the whole sequence in the half-flooded submarine is maybe the best not just from the movie but from the whole MI franchise. It´s so claustrophobic and deep-water-phobic it basically becomes a horror movie in this part.
The dog fight with small planes is fun.
It´s a cool movie over all but it could have been trimmed to be even better.

This movie was a drama first and foremost that also included comedy and action. I loved the intro that TC did welcoming people to the theatre. I produce TV shows and soon films and want mine to be on the big screen, like his. I recognize the stunts and talent he has, as well as the dedication to a film that cost nearly $400 million and took several years. It was originally slated for release in 2023 but got delayed due to strikes and COVID-19. A great film. Hope it is NOT the last one, but not sure how they will top this one!

The movie wasn't that great. There was 20 minutes was wasted of showing of what happened in the past. The story for the cast was hard to follow. Poor Ving Rhames character of not making it alive after the hospital.

Who in the world thought , Tom Cruise,could be that guy , that ,could correctly use woke in a movie , with style , under stated , and just pitch perfect , WOW, no lecture , no inclusive , no BS, just well written , character development , this person has six lines , you care for them ,
and when they save Cruise , everyone though they were going to kiss.
No pronouns , just a solid kick ass solider. Anyone this competent can serve in my army. You figure it out , and thats how you do woke, Hollywood , listen up Disney .

Took me back to 1996. I was mere 15-year old teen, watching the first Mission Impossible with my family. Truly a unique spectacle. Now, 2025. The final mission. I honestly enjoy this film. It was ambitious. High-octane action sequences. Risky in every way. Like Top Gun Maverick, cruise continues to give us spectacle after spectacle. Truly a unique actor amongst Hollywood. Check this out. It’s a blast!

The impossible mission was making sense of this movie. It’s a big movie with some huge scenes. However the story line was very confusing. I found the movie a little boring. There was little character development.

Was a decent action movie. Could have been better. Almost no interaction with The Entity
That was disappointing. I would have loved to see Ethan going toe to toe with the rouge Ai
But alas no such conflict. Most of the action was with good and bad people trying to thwart Ethan s attempt to capture the Ai.
Oh well maybe in the next movie as it ended with a cliffhanger.
