I really felt traumatized after this movie. It was interesting all the way through and it kept me on the edge of my seat or hiding behind my hushand. I did enjoy watching it though.

THOUGH THIS WAS A REMAKE, THE MOVIE DIDN`T LOOSE ANY OF IT ACTION OR SUSPENSE & SHOWED ANOTHER POSSIBLE WAY TO VIEW INTELLIGENT LIFE IN SPACE. REALISTICALLY, DO WE ALL BELIEVE THAT ALIENS WILL BE AS NICE AS ET WHEN OUR OWN NATURES ARE SO VASTLY DIFFERENT.

It was ok.. the end was kinda werid but the whole special effects are really good... Its funi how the thunderbolt stopped all cars and watches and every piece of electronics.. yet some dude jumps out with a camcorder filming the scene... that reali doesnt make sense...

I LOOOOVVVVVVEEEEEEEDDDD War of the Worlds!! and i cant wait to get it on DVD!!! justin chatwin was so hot and awesome!! its deffinatly a MUST SEE MOVIE!!! it has awesome special effects too...

Well I thought the movie was stupid. Aliens observing us for billions of years? And the suddenly get angry at us because we controlled the world? look the ending made no sense i understand the bird part but the real clincher of the movie was crap. there were some funny parts like floating bodys flowing down a stream but that was basicly it. thats why i think this movie diserves a 2 star rating

Overall I liked it, but really not up to all the hype. The ending was very similar to the original but could of been done in a less anti-climatic way. Every main character in the story surviving was highly unbelievable.
