  i loved it and enjoyed it alot .............so romantic so moving and ofcourse robert and tayler didn't dissapoint me at all ...definatly gonna watch it again

  I loved how closely it resembled the book, considering you could never fit a book into a 2-3 hour movie. There was something different about the make-up, lighting or maybe even the chemistry between Bella and Edward that was missing for me but I plan on buying this one and watching it a few more times....I havent enjoyed a series like this since Lord of the Rings and I am super excited for Eclipse...June can't come soon enough...neither can the DVD for that matter!!!

  I think that the first director produced a better movie and the second one while good at action scenes, was not able to handle the emotional scenes in a meaningful way. The impact of New Moon was not as emotionally satisfying as Twilight. The magical realism was missing.

  I thought that New Moon was a good film and it stayed true to the book. But some how the magic was missing. The new director delivered the action, but some how the mystery was missing. The landscape was not as central and I think that that was a mistake. Also I was very disappointed in the Italian scenes; I expected thses to evoke all the delicious horror of the gothic tradition and they did not.

  New Moon was an action packed thriller and a wonderful love triangle. Taylor really stepped up to the plate and was totally believable as a werewolf. I just wish that Weitz had not made them so large. It was hard for me to accept them as real becuase of the proportions. They were too large for the landscape and out of balance with the vampires.

  I've read all the books and the last book is my absolute favourite. I loved the New Moon movie because it was much much closer to the book than Twilight, which strayed way too far away from the book. I do hope that the director of New Moon will be doing Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. Maybe the new director can re-do Twilight as well???

  I really enjoyed the movie as I thought it stayed pretty true to the book. The effects were a little cheesy but it was ok. The Voltori seen rocked! I saw it opening night and it was pretty hard to concentrate with the anoying tweens behind us that seemed to really hate Bella for some reason. I will be needing to see it again and I look forward to it.
