Ryu (Ha-kyun Shin) wants to donate one of his kidneys to his sick sister, only he finds that he’s not a match. On top of this, he’s fired for missing work to care for his sister, and his severance pay is only 10 million won ($7,000).
He makes arrangements with a black market organ seller to exchange his kidney, plus the 10 million won, for one that matches his sister, but they steal his money and kidney. In the meantime the hospital calls to say they now have a match. However, he no longer has the money he needs to pay for the operation. His girlfriend Youngmi suggests kidnapping the young daughter of his former boss to get the money.
