The Purge: Anarchy
trailer
In a dystopic future, the government, re-engineered by the New Founders of America (NFA), has sanctioned an annual 12-hour Purge wherein all crimes that occur during that time are ignored and can be committed without fear of punishment, in an effort to ensure that the crime rate stays below one percent for the rest of the year.
This sequel follows an unlikely group of five citizens whose lives intersect over the course of the night. Leo is out to get revenge on someone who wronged his family when he witnesses the kidnapping of a mother and her teenage daughter. Meanwhile, a couple about to separate are the victims of a carjacking and have to find a safe place to get through the night.
