Mr. Turner
trailer
British artist J.M.W. Turner (Timothy Spall) has recently returned from a painting expedition in Belgium. He lives with his elderly father (Paul Jesson) and their housekeeper (Dorothy Atkinson), who doubles as Turner’s lover.
Although he has two grown daughters, family life is not for Mr. Turner. His art is all-consuming and he travels wherever he believes he'll find inspiration for his next works. He finds himself in the coastal town of Margate, where he rents a small seaside apartment from widow Sophia Booth (Marion Bailey), who goes on to become his last mistress.
