Alain is getting married to Virginie. The day will be magnificent, it will be perfect, and Alain’s Lebanese aunts will talk about this wedding for years to come. But Alain has a stomach ache. A silent anger is growing within him. He fears the reunion of his parents, whose stormy divorce troubled his childhood. He also fears the strong return of his anxiety attacks and addiction to medication. His brother-like cousin Édouard has promised the newlyweds to parade them around in a convertible Mustang. But on the wedding day, Édouard’s mind is elsewhere. He’s hatching a nebulous plan and is determined to talk to Alain about it. By doing so, he summons ghosts from the past, plunging Alain into an anxiety close to delirium. Alain now has only one ambition: to survive the most beautiful day of his life.
