The Signal
trailer
Two hacker friends, Nic Eastman (Brenton Thwaites) and Jonah Breck (Beau Knapp), are tracking a mysterious online presence dubbed Nomad, who torments and taunts them. Nomad has already hacked into MIT and exposed security faults. They agree to meet Nomad face-to-face with Nic’s girlfriend in tow. The trio find themselves lured to an eerily isolated area.
After blacking out, Nic wakes up in a government facility. Confused and scared, Nic is asked to recount what happened by Dr. Wallace Damon (Laurence Fishburne). The first chance he gets, Nic escapes from captivity with Damon and other agents chasing him, while he tries to make sense of what is going on around him.
