Dark Horse
trailer
In the small town of Cefn Fforest, South Wales, a middle-aged woman named Jan Vokes decides she wants to breed and raise a racehorse. She rallies a syndicate of friends to pool their modest resources to this end, and they wind up with a racehorse they call Dream Alliance.
Dream spends the early part of his life in a common area of Cefn Fforest and the entire town gets to know him. When he reaches racing age, he's sent to a trainer and shows unexpected promise.
The Welsh townsfolk break social barriers by competing against wealthy horse owners, but more than that, they form a bond with this special horse who means more to them than any winnings or titles he winds up earning.
