All the Money in the World
trailer
When 16-year-old John Paul Getty III (Charlie Plummer) is kidnapped in Rome in 1973, his mother Gail Harris (Michelle Williams) desperately tries to convince his miserly billionaire grandfather Jean Paul Getty (Christopher Plummer), the richest man in the world, to pay the ransom of $17 million. However, Getty refuses to pay any ransom at all, leaving Gail in a panic and her son in a very desperate situation.
Getty's employee Fletcher Chase (Mark Wahlberg) tries to help Gail get her son back, but without Getty Sr.'s help, they're running out of time.
Based on the book Painfully Rich: The Outrageous Fortunes and Misfortunes of the Heirs of J. Paul Getty by John Pearson.
