Emilia Pérez Overview

A Mexican lawyer (Zoe Saldaña) is offered an unusual job to help a notorious cartel boss (Karla Sofía Gascón) leave his wife (Selena Gomez) and children behind as he has surgery to transition into living as a woman, fulfilling a long-held desire.

Once he's transitioned, he realizes he misses his wife and children, and tries to reinstate himself back into their lives, without revealing who he is.
