trailer
A malevolent ancient enemy — Steppenwolf (Ciarán Hinds), an eight-foot-tall warrior from the world of Apokolips, a dimension outside of time and space — sets his sights on Earth when he realizes Superman (Henry Cavill) no longer poses a threat.
In light of Superman's ultimate sacrifice, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) vows to do all he can to fight off this powerful foe. He enlists help from Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) to find and recruit a team of metahumans that includes Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) — in addition to Wonder Woman and Batman — to stand against this terrifying threat.
But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes, it may already be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, the nephew of the powerful supervillain Darkseid. A member of Darkseid's Elite, Steppenwolf, along with his Parademon forces, has returned to Earth on his uncle's behalf to gain the power to rule the universe.
