After Quentin Beck unmasks Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and frames him for his murder, Peter is no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a superhero. Peter, his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), his girlfriend MJ Watson (Zendaya) and his best friend Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon) are questioned by the Department of Damage Control and Peter struggles with the negative publicity.
When he asks for help from Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.
